Buildbase see the Pace - EMRA 19/05/13

For the second time this season, RMKD travelled to the undulating Cadwell Park for the Buildbase EMRA round three. This time competing in the F400, it was crucial for rider Nick Anderson to get more track time aboard their zxr400 pocket rocket and to test the strength and reputation of the EMRA 400 fast boys.

After qualifying on the front row, with the cream of the EMRA crop Matt Zschiesche, Anderson was determine to add to his haul of trophys.A blown fuse soon sidelined the hard charging Zschiesche and with no one left to challenge the pace of the RMKD rookie Nick cruised to a first in class in both races. Even achieving a new personal best,  he only broke into a sweat  due to having a temperature from catching his mums cold taking both class wins by almost half a lap.

The next outing for the RMKD team is the Sheene memorial meeting at Olivers Mount 15/16th June, where he yet again teams up with Dave Bell.

ANDERWON - Cadwell Park NG 27-28 April 2013

The RMKD team headed to Cadwell Park for the NG meeting on the final weekend in April, with Nick Anderson hoping for decent results, riding the stock ER6 for the first time this season.

In race one of the 'MPH Bikes minitwins', Anderson started from dead last on the grid. He wasted no time and blasted off the line with more urgency than his customary Vindaloo had catapulted him to the loo!by the end of lap one he was in 7th and continued battling throughout finishing a strong 3rd, earning a maiden front row start for the championship race.

Points and trophys were the prize in the championship race, Anderson made yet another good start and got the hole shot He then may as well have been riding his dad's Yamaha Diversion as he entered coppice at a snail's pace, demoting him to second. Despite a worn tyre, he held onto 3rd place when the red flag came out after lap five, resulting in a podium place.

Sunday saw RMKD allow Anderson onto his prized ZXR 400 missile. In the championship race, he was in the lead by park corner, despite gallant efforts by past and current champions he took the chequered flag in convincing style, heading 2007 champ 'Lee Tyack' by 18 seconds for his first career win.

Bell Impresses in Mount Opener - Spring National April 2013

Dave Bell rolled out his minitwin spec retro ER6 for the first meeting at Oliver's Mount; the Spring National on the 21st April. Knowing that he was against many big budget supertwins, including a highly ranked journalist on a much more powerful bike, a decent result was going to be hard to come by.

Despite being down on power to all his rivals, Dave 'rode the wheels off' his minitwin, to come home 8th and 7th in the two Lee Vernon supertwin legs. If RMKD squeeze a few more 'horses' out of the bike for the next meeting, we are sure Dave can be battling much nearer the front.
